Corynebacterium glutamicum Regulation beyond Transcription: Organizing Principles and Reconstruction of an Extended Regulatory Network Incorporating Regulations Mediated by Small RNA and Protein–Protein Interactions

چکیده

Corynebacterium glutamicum is a Gram-positive bacterium found in soil where the condition changes demand plasticity of regulatory machinery. The study such machinery at global scale has been challenged by lack data integration. Here, we report three network models for C. glutamicum: strong (3040 interactions) constructed solely with regulations previously supported directed experiments; all evidence (4665 containing network, nondirected experiments, and protein–protein interactions direct effect on gene transcription; sRNA (5222 sRNA-mediated regulations. Compared to previous version (2018), networks increased 75 1225 interactions, respectively. We analyzed system-level components identify how they differ compared their structures against those more than 40 species. inclusion changed proportions number modules but decreased size. structure contrasted other bacterial networks. Finally, used model organisms provide insights future directions C.glutamicum characterization.

Small interfering RNA; principles, applications and challenges--

Gene silencing using RNAi (RNA interference), has recently been used as a successful laboratory technique in determining the function and control of gene expression and provides a wide range of applications in molecular biology and gene therapy. RNAi is a method of suppressing gene expression. In this direction, a single-stranded RNA molecule of about 21–23 nucleotides, called siRNA (small inte...

Arabitol metabolism of Corynebacterium glutamicum and its regulation by AtlR.

Expression profiling of Corynebacterium glutamicum in comparison to a derivative deficient in the transcriptional regulator AtlR (previously known as SucR or MtlR) revealed eight genes showing more than 4-fold higher mRNA levels in the mutant. Four of these genes are located in the direct vicinity of the atlR gene, i.e., xylB, rbtT, mtlD, and sixA, annotated as encoding xylulokinase, the ribito...

an investigation into translation of cultural concepts by beginner and advance student using think – aloud protocols

this research aims at answering the questions about translation problems and strategies applied by translators when translating cultural concepts. in order to address this issue, qualitative and quantitative study were conducted on two groups of subjects at imam reza international university of mashhad. these two groups were assigned as beginner and advanced translation students (10 students). ...

Regulation of GlnK activity: modification, membrane sequestration and proteolysis as regulatory principles in the network of nitrogen control in Corynebacterium glutamicum.

P(II)-type signal transduction proteins play a central role in nitrogen regulation in many bacteria. In response to the intracellular nitrogen status, these proteins are rendered in their function and interaction with other proteins by modification/demodification events, e.g. by phosphorylation or uridylylation. In this study, we show that GlnK, the only P(II)-type protein in Corynebacterium gl...
